Hey guess what… We are happy to announce that, joining the Tin Angel family will be, New York native Baby Copperhead (Benjamin Lee)! You can listen to his first single ‘Captain Noel’ from his forthcoming album ‘The Serpent and the Sparrow’ on Spotify right here.
“An experimental landscape from a dystopian future featuring new songs arranged for string trio, banjo, acoustic guitar and electronics. Traditional modal tunings from Southern Appalachia and sampled field recordings encounter stark expanses of synthesized sounds amidst contemporary classical arrangements for violin viola, and cello, alternately lush and spare.”

PICK A PIPER
We are SO happy to announce that joining the Tin Angel Family is Electronic experimentalist Brad Weber aka Pick a Piper who will be releasing his album ‘Distance’ on the 3rd of March on Tin Angel Records. Here are some words on the upcoming album:
‘Pick A Piper releases his most gripping and emotional collection of songs yet, Distance, on March 3rd. Weber – also known for his role in dance favourites Caribou – has ventured everywhere from Chernobyl and Guatemala to the Canadian Arctic, northern mountains of Japan and south America since his first release as Pick A Piper. On this new album, he lets that influence show. A bewitching slow-rave travelogue of sounds and stories picked up along the way, it’s a record that simmers with both the excitement of adventuring to these locales, and the melancholy of the people you leave behind to visit them. “It’s a great source of heartache, but also a great source of joy,” Weber explains of an album “about trying to balance connectivity with chronically being away.” Distance, like the scene in all good postcards, you’ll long to return to again and again. ‘
You can listen to the premiere of ‘Geographically Opposed’ the opening track to ‘Distance’ on FACT RIGHT HERE

Nedelle Torrisi has spent about a decade making music-in her own band (Cryptacize), backing other people's bands (Xiu Xiu, Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti, Saturday Looks Good to Me, and Sufjan Stevens's band), and, since 2005's From the Lion's Mouth (credited simply to "Nedelle" no last name) as a solo act turning out blissful R&B-tilting jams.
She releases her new album, Advice From Paradise, this Summer and it's her best work yet, full of smooth and synth-y grooves, Torrisi's dreamy vocals, and cameos from Dev Hynes (Blood Orange), Nite Jewel, and Julia Holter.
